is comprised of nearly a dozen fortresses through the mountains along the northern, western, and eastern borders of Iskendurun, as well as along the southeastern and southern borders of Adamar, and the eastern border of Alondrol. They are all manned by warriors sent from all who share borders with these countries. Most are criminals who were given a choice: Titans’ Guard or death. The rest are children with no chance of family inheritance or young men seeking fame and glory.
Those who cannot fight are taught. The men of the Titans’ Guard are charged with keeping the peace and safety of the lands surrounding their citadels. Whether the threat is from monster bands, raiders, or natural disaster, they have sworn an oath.
While none ever have a life outside the Titans’ Guard again, many wed and sire children. Women seldom take up the sword, but regularly help with the maintenance of the citadels and their occupants. Male children stay and fight when they come of age. Females often follow in their mothers’ footsteps. This is the most certain way to ensure the Titans’ Guard continues.
